Why we are building VaultBolt
Private photos, IDs and screenshots of passwords end up mixed into the camera roll, then in Recently Deleted and in iCloud Photos. Existing vaults make you hunt for them by hand, copy rather than move them, and too often run ads or ask for an email. We think a privacy app should do the hard part for you and ask for nothing in return.
What we believe
Encryption should happen on your device. You should not need an account to protect your own files. A privacy tool should be honest about its limits. And it should look like an ordinary, well-made utility, not a hacker toy.
How we build
VaultBolt is a native SwiftUI app for iPhone and iPad with a small, zero-knowledge relay for planned sharing features. Every user story is tracked against tests. An independent security audit and a public whitepaper are planned before public launch.
What we will not build
No ads. No tracking. No account system. No server that can read your files. No 'military-grade' marketing that hides what the app really does.
